About The Throwdown

The Throwdown first started at 95.9 KISS FM. It started as Three hours of non-stop dance music mixed live in the studio. Since then it has been on various station in the US. Currently it is on:

• www.theradio.com
• www.idanceradio.fm
• www.dancemixamerica.com

The length of the show can be from one hour to three. You can have it be just the music with artist drops or add Rick in the show "live." Lastly, Rick will mix station IDs, commercials, liners, or whatever you would like. You can also add artist interviews, what's in the mix entertainment spots, and what's new in music news.

About Rick the Announcer

Rick got real lucky one day and while doing a promotion for a local restaurant meet his new dream and the person who helped him get there. They are radio and Dayton Kane. Without Dayton, I would have never had the chances I do. He is a great leader and MENTOR! I sure miss that guy.

Next, I did middays at an oldies station and was the youngest oldies jock in the nation (still unconfirmed ;-))!

I was lucky enough to work at the "BIG ONE" 101.1 WIXX. Jason Hilary was the boss there but everyone knows that Otis Dey pulls all the strings.

I then landed the dream gig and was a producer for two national talents, Mike Tanner and Robin Marshall aka Jane. They were and are syndicated nationally. They were everywhere from NY, Pittsburgh, FL, IL, and WI. I forgot to mention LA!
